College Baseball:
PCC secured the three-game South Coast Conference sweep of Compton on Saturday.
The Lancers cruised to a 17-5 road victory.
In the three-game set, Pasadena outscored Compton, 39-12.
Delton Prinze III got the loss after surrendering nine runs (four earned) on four hits over 2 1/3 innings.
Prinze walked four and struck out one PCC batter.
Four errors cost the Coyotes 11 runs.
Joey Ramos went 2-for-5 with a walk, three runs, a pair of two-run singles and he finished with six RBIs.
Omar Cisneros walked, scored, had a two-run single and a two-run double.
Xiovany Ochoa went 3-for-6 with one run, an RBI single and an RBI double.
Luke Bauer had an RBI single.
Kyle Ly drew three walks and scored one run.
Ricky Gonzales went 2-for-3 with a walk, three runs and a pair of RBIs.
Chris Torres walked twice, doubled twice and scored five times.
Joaquin Salcedo singled, doubled, scored twice and drove in one run on a sac fly.
AJ Flores went five innings and allowed one run on five hits to earn the win.
Flores didn’t issue a walk and registered four strikeouts.
Nathan Baca doubled twice, hit a solo homer and drove in a run on an RBI ground out.
Corey Guy singled twice and scored.
Amaree Burnett went 2-for-4.
Julian Arellano walked, singled twice and scored.
Jaidon Carter singled and scored.
Matthew Marroquin had an RBI single and scored.
Up next: The Lancers have a two-game home-and-away series with Golden West on Wednesday and Thursday.
