Rio Hondo Prep improved to 4-1 after Tuesday’s 5-2 victory at Alhambra.
Madison Ro went four scoreless innings, and she allowed a pair of hits to earn the win.
Ro didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.
Allie Scott was charged with a pair of unearned runs on three hits.
Scott walked two and struck out five.
Aerin Crespo doubled and scored.
Amari Artunez went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI.
Alexis Garcia singled twice and scored.
Aubrey Diaz got the loss after surrendering four runs (three earned) on three hits and two walks over two innings.
Ro went 2-for-4 with a double, run and one RBI.
Janna Taflinger singled and scored.
Leah Rodriguez went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Scott drew a pair of walks and scored.
Ryan Covey and Evonny Ortega scored one run apiece.
Tara Riley had a pair of singles in the win.
