Two days after its first loss of the season, Glendora dropped a 16-2 mercy-rule beatdown on their hosts from Notre Dame.

Ten separate Tartans had at least one hit in the five-inning contest.

Gabriel Juarez was charged with 11 runs on seven hits over three innings of work.

However, Juarez didn’t get any help from his defense.

Four Titans errors cost the boys from Riverside nine unearned runs.

GHS quarterback Sebastian Lawrence hit a three-run HR to extend the lead to 6-0.

Aidan Yamazaki doubled, tripled, scored twice and drove in three runs.

Tanner Grable went 2-for-3 with a run, double and two RBIs.

Riley Cooper walked, singled and scored.

John Seader went 1-for-4 with three runs and a pair of RBIs.

Chase Medina singled and scored.

Diego Garza walked, singled and scored.

Santiago Garza walked, doubled, scored and drove in three runs.

Ozzie Tapia walked, singled, scored and had one RBI.

Jaydan Proctor singled and Troy Norman scored one run.

Johnny Jabbour walked and scored, and Joseph Apodaca was hit by pitch and scored.

Preston Tymchak went four innings to earn the win, allowing two runs on three hits.

Tymchak didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.

Alan Ohno got the final three outs, and all came via strikeout.

Julian Rodriguez doubled and scored.

Juarez singled and scored.

Joshue Serrano singled in a run in the bottom of the fourth inning.
