Bonita Won the Maui Softball Tournament After Saturday’s 12-0 Victory Over Kamehameha Kapalama in Four Innings

What a start to the 2026 season.

Bonita is now 7-0.

And that includes a Maui Softball Tournament title after victories over Baldwin, Kailua, Kauai, Maui and Kamehameha Kapalama by a combined margin of 58-3.

On Saturday, the Bearcats dropped a 12-0 beatdown on Kamehameha.

Sara Yeats went three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out six.

Zoey Colburn got the final three outs and struck out one.

Addison Wong and Peahi Grilho had one single apiece to account for the Warriors offense.

Siva Gaea got the loss after surrendering 10 runs (four earned) on 10 hits and three walks over three innings.

Leah Reynolds doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs, including one via sac fly.

Adriana Mangini went 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.

Koa Puppe drew a walk, singled, scored and drove in one run.

Serenity Reyes went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI.

Laila Washington singled in a run.

Laney Sweeney went 2-for-2 with a double, run and three RBIs.

Yeats drove in a run on a sac fly.

Colburn singled and scored two runs.

Audrina Eslava went 1-for-2 with a walk and one RBI.

Keili Okayama doubled in a run and scored.

Up next: The Bearcats will host La Habra on Thursday at 3:30.
