After a pair of lopsided setbacks to Corona and Etiwanda by a combined margin of 21-2, Matt Shupper’s boys earned victory No. 1 of the 2026 season.
Bradley Loiacono went four innings, and he was charged with two runs on two hits.
Loiacono issued a pair of walks and registered five strikeouts.
Jayden Morales provided three innings, and he surrendered two runs (one earned) on five hits.
He didn’t give a free pass and struck out three SAHS batters.
Mario Vitale had an RBI double.
Lorenzo Haros singled twice and scored.
Matthew Prior doubled.
Nathan Balkenbush and Guillermo MacFarland singled and scored run apiece.
Cruz Reyes got the loss.
Reyes allowed four runs (one earned) on three hits over 2 2/3 innings.
Reyes walked one and fanned one.
Jonny Haskett was charged with one run on one hit and two walks over two innings.
Haskett got half of his six outs via strikeout.
Bryce Getting went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
