Softball:
San Dimas opened the 2026 season in dominating form.
The Saints cruised to a 10-4 victory over their visitors from Diamond Ranch.
SDHS had an 18-5 advantage in base hits, including an 8-1 edge in extra-base hits.
All nine San Dimas starters had at least one hit on Tuesday.
Isabella Flores got roughed up for 10 runs (nine earned) on 17 hits and one walk over five innings of work.
Adrianna Rosales went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and an RBI.
Tiffany Villegas singled, doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Freshman Mikaela Ketterling went 2-for-4 in her high school debut with a double, run and one RBI.
Savannah Clelland singled, doubled and scored.
Mia Patlan walked, singled and scored three times.
Audrey Schlim doubled in a run.
Graciela Alt-Ambriz went 3-for-4 with a double, run and one RBI.
Juleah Velasco singled, doubled and drove in a run.
Brooke D’Amato got the win after going five innings and surrendering two runs (one earned) on four hits.
D’Amato issued three walks and registered four strikeouts.
Trailing 10-2 in the top of the seventh, Khloe Malcolm hit a 2-run HR.
Audrey Quintero had an RBI single.
Oliva Jauregui singled and scored.
Flores went 2-for-2 at the plate.
Up next: The Saints will host Arroyo today (Wednesday) at 3:30.
