Reagan Herrmann’s 14 Points & 9 Rebounds Leads Glendora to a 34-25 Victory at Bonita; GHS Secures Outright Palomares Title

Girls Hoops:

Glendora secured an outright Palomares League championship on Friday evening.

The Tartans improved to 9-0 after a low-scoring 34-25 victory at Bonita.

GHS led 19-7 at the break, and they cruised to their sixth league title in the last nine years.

Reagan Herrmann had a game-high 14 points to go with nine rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Mia Reyes scored all nine of her points from beyond the three-point arc.

Reyes also tallied six rebounds.

Remy Caine (5) and Milana Luera (4) combined to score nine points for the Tartans.

Caine totaled three rebounds and Luera tied Herrmann for a team-high nine rebounds.

Bonita had a 5-4 advantage in 3-pointers.

Aubrey Haynes led the Bearcats with 10 points, including a pair of 3’s.

Malei’a Reaves hit a pair of 3-pointers, and she finished with eight points.

In their nine league wins, GHS has outscored its opponents by a combined margin of 510-288.

Up next: The Tartans will close out the regular season on Monday evening, as they host Walnut at 5.

The Bearcats travel to Ayala, and they already have third place in the Palomares standings locked in place.
