Boys Hoops:
Alta Loma moved one game closer to what they hope ends in a Hacienda League championship.
The Lions secured a 51-33 victory over San Dimas.
SDHS scored just two first quarter points, and ALHS went on an 18-7 run in the third period.
Evan Floyd led Alta Loma with 11 points.
Tahlor Fairley and Caleb Palmer both contributed eight points apiece in the win.
Andrew Diep led San Dimas with 11 points.
That included three 3-pointers, and a 2-of-2 effort from the free-throw line.
Daniel Barrales chipped in with seven points, and Adrian Alcaide provided five points in the loss.
San Dimas had a 6-3 edge in 3-pointers.
ALHS got two points or more from 12 separate players.
Alta Loma has just one game left and holds a one-half game lead over Los Altos.
The Lions and Conquerors meet Wednesday night in Hacienda Heights.
