Girls Soccer:

Glendora secured a second consecutive Palomares League championship on Wednesday evening.

And the Tartans got payback.

Leading 1-0 back on January the 9th, Claremont scored in the final two minutes to force a 1-1 tie.

Fast forward 19 days, and Hudson Suprenant scored with one minute to play to lead GHS to a 1-0 victory.

Glendora has yet to lose in 2025-26.

The game was delayed 10 minutes in the second half, because the refs apparently didn’t like the in-game feedback they got from the Glendora parents.

According to a couple of sources, the contest was especially rough, and both sides sought a more controlled environment and more penalties called in the hope of avoiding injuries.

Both programs had four to five corner kicks.

Claire Castro pitched a shutout in goal for the Tartans.

One of Castro’s saves came on a long Claremont shot midway through the second half that looked to give the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead.

Up next: The Tartans host Bonita on Friday evening at 5:30 at Louie Pompei Memorial Sports Park in the regular season finale.

Glendora seeks to finish the regular season without a loss.
