Girls Hoops:

Glendora remained the only unbeaten program in Palomares League play on Wednesday evening.

Barely.

The Tartans needed and got a 3-pointer at the buzzer from Milana Luera just to force overtime.

And GHS would outlast their visitors from Bonita, 55-47, in OT.

The Bearcats only trailed once at the beginning of the game, and they wouldn’t relinquish that advantage until Glendora went on a 10-2 run in overtime.

Trailing by six in the final period, GHS went on an 11-5 surge.

They would outscore BHS, 21-7, in the fourth and overtime periods.

Reagan Herrmann led Glendora with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and five steals.

Mia Reyes added eight points, including a pair of second-half 3-pointers, and two rebounds.

Luera finished with eight points, as well as nine rebounds and three steals.

Remy Caine had eight points and five rebounds.

Tressa Beatty led Bonita and all scorers with 24 points.

Beatty hit a pair of 3-pointers.

Kyra Amaya produced 14 points for the Bearcats.

GHS was able to hold Beatty and Amaya to two point each in the fourth and overtime periods.

Up next: On Friday, BHS will host Ayala, and GHS travels to Walnut.
