Girls Hoops:
The Palomares League showdown at Diamond Bar couldn’t have been a bigger mismatch on paper.
The winless Brahmas (0-12) fell, 56-26, to their visitors from Glendora (18-2).
GHS outscored DBHS, 32-9, in the second half.
And Diamond Bar was held scoreless in the fourth period.
The Tartans had four players in double figures.
Reagan Herrmann scored a game-high 13 points with seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
Milana Luera contributed 11 points, 15 rebounds, two assists and five steals.
Mia Reyes and Remy Caine added 10 points apiece in the win.
Reyes had three rebounds and three assists, and Caine finished with three rebounds and four assists.
Glendora left Diamond Bar with its second Palomares League victory in spite of hitting just 5-of-33 from beyond the 3-point arc.
And the Tartans shot 36-percent (5-of-14) from the free-throw line.
Jaqueline Ruiz (9), Tiffany Huang (6) and Kaitlyn Dila (5) combined to score 20 points in the loss.
Up next: The Tartans travel to Claremont on Friday evening at 5.
