Girls Hoops:
A third quarter surge lifted Flintridge Prep to a 52-45 victory over Saugus at the Dave Wilson Showcase.
The Wolves went on a 15-8 run after both programs matched each other in the first, second and fourth periods.
Prep is now 11-1.
Maddie Smith led the way with 19 points, two rebounds, seven steals and five assists.
Hailey Louie chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds.
Megan Quoch added eight points and seven rebounds.
And Mackenzie Bates provided six points, four rebounds and a pair of blocked shots.
Eva Marie Rios led Saugus with 13 points.
Rachel Correa and Jasmine Garcia scored eight points apiece in the loss.
Up next: The Wolves will host Chadwick on Wednesday evening at 5:30 in a Prep League contest.
