Girls Hoops:
Glendora rebounded well from its first loss of the season.
One day after a three-point setback to Anaheim Canyon at the Glendora Tournament, the Tartans secured a 71-57 victory over Roosevelt.
GHS used a 46-30 run in the second half to pull away.
Kamryn Kuo and Reagan Herrmann led the Glendora offense with 21 points apiece.
Kuo went 6-of-9 from behind the 3-point arc to go with two rebounds and three assists.
Herrmann had eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
Freshman Remy Caine provided 18 points, four rebounds and a steal.
Milana Luera only scored two points, but she led GHS with nine rebounds.
Mia Reyes finished with six points and two assists.
Kristen Ly scored a game-high 25 points for Roosevelt.
Up next: The Tartans will battle Yucaipa on Monday afternoon at 12:30.
