Soccer:
La Salle opened the Pirate Cup Tournament with a 3-0 victory over San Pedro.
And they did so in rainy conditions.
The Lady Lancers scored once in the first half and got two more in the second.
Alexa Borunda-White opened the scoring, assisted by Quinn Cevallos.
Lyla Davila followed up with a goal set up by senior Skylar Chen.
Chen capped the match with an unassisted goal to seal the win.
Sophomore Mikayla Otto earned another shutout in Friday’s win.
Up next: The Lancers will battle Hamilton (4-4) on Saturday at noon.
