Maranatha opened the 2025-26 season with a 2-0 victory over their visitors from the Magnolia Science Academy.
The Minutemen got single goals in the first and second halves, and Niko Lareau pitched a shutout.
Anthony Ter-Matvosyan got MHS on the board with a first-half goal.
And for good measure, Ter-Matvosyan doubled the Maranatha lead with a goal in the second half.
Lareau finished with four saves.
Up next: The Minutemen will host Oakwood on Friday afternoon at 3:30.
