Boys Hoops:
One night after a five-point loss to Fullerton in the 2025-26 opener, Glendora was back on the court at the Sunny Hills Tournament.
The Tartans secured a 45-37 victory over University of Irvine.
Tanner Grable scored a game-high 15 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Max Hilgenfeldt added 14 points and eight rebounds.
Noah Rangel and Brock Willett provided five points apiece.
Willett also tallied four assists.
Moshe Loucks led GHS with nine rebounds.
Joshua Thio led UHS with 12 points.
Lucas Haun contributed nine points in the loss.
Up next: The Tartans will face La Costa Canyon on Wednesday evening at 5.
