Bonita opened its 2025-26 season with a 61-49 victory over St. Anthony at the Jim Harris Classic at Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach.
James Kim led the BHS offense with 20 points.
Beau Rudometkin chipped in with 16 points.
Jakson Clement and Brayden Johnson contributed 10 points apiece in Monday’s win.
Marinio Elissaint led St. Anthony with 18 points.
Reivier Hondo (10), Ayden Reeves (8), Mychal McQueen (7) combined to score 25 points in the loss.
Up next: The Bearcats will face the Ocean View-Sage Hill winner on Wednesday.
