Thanks to Maranatha for this report:

Today was Senior Day for the Lady Minutemen – the final regular season home match for seniors, Diana Sarksyan, Kathryn Khalil, Madison White, Mia Huang, and Mia Su.

With family, friends, and faculty in attendance, the Lady Minutemen made sure they put in a good performance.

That they did, with an 18-0 victory that improved upon the 13-5 scoreline the last time the two teams played.

Each senior is an integral part of this year’s team, each having made significant contributions to the team, both on and off the court, with big wins and steady leadership.

With their win today, the Lady Minutemen (13-1; 4-1) earned the right to play for the Olympic League title on Thursday against the reigning league champions, the Village Christian Crusaders.

Each team has only one league loss heading into Thursday’s league finale, with Maranatha handing the Crusaders their lone loss in their first meeting.

The winner will earn the outright league championship.

With the win today and the Crusaders’ win against Valley Christian, both teams are assured of making the CIF-SS playoffs as the Olympic League’s two designated representatives.
