La Salle needed just one more victory to secure an outright Camino Real League championship.
And the Lancers (9-0) would have to knock off second-place Bishop Amat (8-1) for the second time this season to accomplish that feat.
In spite of being shorthanded with five players, the girls from Pasadena met the challenge head on.
La Salle would earn the league crown thanks to Wednesday’s 246-264 victory at the Santa Anita Golf Course.
Sarah Tutundjian and Samantha Hu each turned in a 43 for the Lancers.
Karolina Azula shot a 48, Angela Zhou posted a 53 and Emma Bardakjian shot a 59.
Amber Li and Reese Names were not able to play due to illness.
Up next: The Lancers will compete at the CRL prelims and finals next week to determine who will represent the Camino Real League in CIF Individuals.
Meanwhile, La Salle is waiting to see which division it will play in for the CIF team tournament.
