Volleyball:
It’s been a rough few weeks for the Bonita volleyball program.
And in particular, Palomares League matches.
On Monday, the Bearcats fell in four games at second-place Claremont.
The Wolfpack won by scores of 25-22, 25-20, 23-25 and 25-15.
BHS has dropped four consecutive league matches and six of their last seven.
Tatum Longyear led CHS with 12 kills, while Natalie Sanchez provided 10 kills.
Skylar Lak chipped in with nine kills.
Chloe Leeper provided four kills and six aces.
Rylan Vlasich finished with 40 assists.
Abby Leeper had six kills and an ace in the win.
Bonita Junior Sara Yeats and sophomore Elle Howie had seven kills apiece in the loss.
Up next: BHS and CHS will both be in action on Wednesday night.
The Bearcats visit last-place Walnut and the Wolfpack travel to first-place Glendora
