Glendora Inches Closer to a Palomares League Title After Sweep of DBHS; GHS Hosts Second-Place Claremont on Wednesday

Volleyball:

Glendora is on the verge of securing a Palomares League championship.

The Tartans swept visiting Diamond Bar on Monday evening.

With two matches to play, GHS leads second-place Claremont by one game.

On Monday, Glendora won by scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-21.

Kaleia Zeits led the way on defense with 23 digs, and Camilla Swain added four blocks.

Glendora served very tough with three aces from Lorelei Adams.

And two aces apiece from Zeits and Kamy King.

Samantha Oliver led GHS with 11 kills.

Up next: The Tartans can secure an outright Palomares League title with a victory over visiting Claremont on Wednesday evening at 5:30.

Glendora’s lone loss was a 3-1 setback at Claremont on September 22nd.
