Volleyball:
The Marshall volleyball program has now gone 34 days without a loss.
The Eagles swept their hosts from Mountain View in a Mission Valley League contest.
Marshall won by scores of 25-8, 25-14 and 25-17 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Eagles have won 10 consecutive matches and that includes eight in MVL play.
Marshall’s last loss was an August 27th setback at Rio Hondo Prep in four games.
Naomi Taylor had nine kills and six aces.
Ashley Dominguez chipped in with 21 assists and five aces.
Livsey Teems contributed seven kills.
Shanelle Mangubat added five kills and four aces.
Freshman newcomer setter, Cecelia Gonzalez, earned her first career varsity assist in the match, and she finished with eight.
Marshall tallied 21 aces.
