Volleyball:
Glendora earned a four-set Palomares League victory at Ayala.
The Tartans won by scores of 25-13, 25-15, 21-25 and 25-22.
And they got some help.
Last-place Walnut knocked Claremont out of its first-place tie with Glendora thanks to the Mustangs sweep of the Wolfpack.
With three league matches to play, GHS has a one-game lead over Diamond Bar and Walnut.
And the Tartans will host the Brahmas and Wolfpack on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
Camilla Swain led the way with 17 kills.
Valentina Zurla and Sam Oliver chipped in with 12 kills apiece.
Kaleia Zeits provided 34 digs and a team-high four aces.
