Fierro Tosses a Pair of TD Passes in Alta Loma’s 20-6 Victory at Silverado; Fiorenza Tallies Game-High 15 Tackles

Alta Loma is off to its best start since 2021.

The Lions are 4-1 after a 20-6 victory at Silverado in week four.

They led 13-0 at the half and never trailed.

Maximus Fierro completed 5-of-13 for 81 yards.

The ALHS freshman tossed a pair of TD passes to Bryant Avila and didn’t turn the ball over.

Izaih Brown anchored the ground game.

Brown rushed for 100 yards on 18 carries.

And that includes one TD.

Kristopher Biggers gained 51 yards on 13 carries.

Fierro carried the ball three times for 18 yards.

Avila had TD receptions of 40 and 22 yards.

Josiah Smith-Hart reeled in one pass for 14 yards.

The Alta Loma defense held Silverado to just 240 yards of total offense.

Owen Fiorenza had a monster game with 15 tackles, including one for-loss.

Ryan Dunlap finished with eight tackles, Mason Kovar totaled six and Collin Boen had five.

Semaj Stewart picked a pass to go with his seven tackles.

Brent Hubbard completed 8-of-15 for 133 yards in the loss.

Hubbard tossed one TD pass and one interception.

Aumaurieon Bailey (15-for-44), Daniel Strong (5-for-34) and Hubbard (10-for-25) combined to gain 103 yards on 30 carries.

Jayden Pauling had game highs in receptions (4) and receiving yards (110).

Pauling caught a fourth-quarter TD pass from Hubbard.

Up next: ALHS will host West Covina on Friday at 7 in the VVL opener for both programs.

The Bulldogs (3-2) are coming off a 35-14 victory over South Pasadena.
