Water Polo:
Los Osos got out to a five-goal lead in the first half at Charter Oak.
And the Grizzlies held on for a 16-11 victory over the Chargers.
Andres Garcia and Thomas Shirley led the offensive attack as usual.
Garcia finished with seven goals, four assists and a pair of steals.
Shirley added six goals, two steals and an assist.
Brennon Yung chipped in with a pair of goals, four assists and one steal.
Kevin Nashed contributed one goal in the win.
Gavin Cypher blocked seven shots in goal for LOHS.
Cypher also had one steal and an assist.
Todd Jeffrey had three saves.
Up next: The Grizzlies are competing at today’s (Friday) at the Chino Hills Tournament.
In their first game, LOHS will battle Cathedral at 2.
