Water Polo:
Glendora opened both halves strong on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tartans outlasted their hosts from Valley View, 10-6, thanks to a combined 8-3 advantage in the first and third quarters.
Reed Thompson had a game-high four goals, including a pair of first-period scores to get Glendora out to a 4-1 lead.
Collin Harper scored both of his goals in the third quarter to stretch the Tartans advantage to 9-4.
Drew Garrison chipped in with a pair of goals himself.
Logan Gibson and Ricky Busse contributed one goal apiece.
Peter Collins blocked a game-best nine shots in goal.
Jake Mountain had one save for the Tartans.
Up next: GHS will host Cal High (3-1) on Tuesday at 4.
