Glendora opened its 2025 season with a 19-2 beatdown over their hosts from West Covina.
The Tartans held the Bulldogs to seven goals under their season average (through the first give games).
GHS scored four goals apiece in the first and second quarters, and they enjoyed an 8-1 lead at the break.
If the contest wasn’t over at the half, the fat lady certainly sang after the Tartans went on a 9-1 run in the third period.
Zach Newkirk (5) and Reed Thompson (4) combined to score nine of Glendora’s 19 goals.
Jake Bohler contributed a pair of goals in the win.
Ricky Busse, Collin Harper, Logan Gibson, Harrison Peckham, Izen Salinas, Drew Garrison, Tommy Travisano and Peter Collins chipped in with one goal apiece.
Collins also had six saves in goal.
