Nadia Juarez tossed a five-hit shutout in Chino Hills’ 4-0 victory at Huntington Beach in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

Juarez didn’t issue a walk and registered three strikeouts.

Juarez needed 85 pitches to finish what she started.

Cali Bennett, Maleah Humble, Tea Gutierrez, Zariah Billinger and Siguenza had one hit apiece for the Oilers.

Juliette Foultz got the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits over seven innings.

Foultz didn’t give a free pass, and she struck out four CHHS batters.

Brett Lambrecht singled, doubled and scored a pair of runs.

Leilani Allen went 2-for-3 with a run and one RBI.

Kyler Del Duca hit a solo HR.

Jocelyn Garcia drove in a run on a sac fly.

Sophia Tice had an RBI single in the fifth inning.

Lyla Gonzalez and Lilanna Ferrara had one single apiece for the Huskies.

Up next: CHHS travels to Norco on Wednesday at 3:15 in a quarterfinal round contest.

The Cougars (26-3) crushed Oaks Christian, 13-1, on Saturday.
