Quotable:

Chaffey coach, Andrew Smith: “It wasn’t a pretty win, but we aren’t about pretty here anyway. These guys continue to compete and play hard, and punch back when they get knocked down. Derek Almeda and Jordan Daniels once again were clutch for us today. I thought we pitched pretty well considering the score. We all know Mt Sac has a great squad. Tough lineup 1-9, quality arms, consistent defense. We’re excited to go to battle with them. Our guys are certainly excited and ready to go. We’ll see where the chips fall.”
