Baseball:
Northview finished off its sweep of Wilson after Wednesday’s 8-2 home victory to finish Valle Vista League play at 9-1.
The Vikings finished two games ahead of second place West Covina (7-3).
Camren Lobo went 4 2/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits.
Lobo issued four walks and registered nine strikeouts.
Fernando Casas provided 1 2/3 scoreless and hitless innings in relief.
Casas didn’t give a free pass and struck out four Wilson batters.
Alex Han doubled and scored.
Joshua Garcia went 1-for-2 with a walk and one RBI.
Jacob Garcia singled and drew a bases loaded walk.
Marcus Isidro got the loss after allowing eight runs (five earned) on eight hits over six innings.
Isidro walked three and fanned a pair of Vikings.
Joey Ramos went 3-for-3 with a walk, double, four runs and an RBI.
Noah Martinez singled and scored.
Adrian Rodriguez singled and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Michael Mendoza walked and had an RBI single.
AJ Flores drove in a pair of runs on a first-inning single.
Isaiah Benavidez walked and scored.
Fernando Casas had an RBI single.
Zeke Martinez and Timo Salinas scored one run apiece for the Vikings.
