Charter Oak claimed a 7-4 victory over West Covina to finish the regular season in a tie with Covina for third place in the Valle Vista League.
The Chargers out-hit the Bulldogs, 9-4.
Marcus Reese went 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits.
Reese issued three walks and registered six strikeouts.
Steven Haywood provided two innings in relief, and he was charged with two runs on two hits.
Haywood walked one and fanned a pair of Bulldogs.
Brian Aceves got the final two outs to earn the save, including one via strikeout.
Gabe Diaz had a two-run double in the top of the seventh inning.
Griffey Moncada and Marciano Ramirez singled and scored.
Robert Melendez walked and scored.
Michael Gutierrez had an RBI ground out.
Ethan Okazaki, Andrew Maldonado drew a bases loaded walk and Izaiah Hernandez scored once for WCHS.
