San Marino officially secured an outright Rio Hondo League championship on Monday.
JJ Wilson went the distance in a 10-2 victory at South Pasadena.
Wilson scattered five hits, walked three and struck out eight SPHS batters.
Raphi Hall went 1-for-3 with a walk and one RBI.
Cody Robinson singled and scored.
Leo Castillo had an RBI single.
SMHS scored at least one run off five of South Pasadena’s seven pitchers.
Jonathan Bracamonte got the loss, allowing five unearned runs on three hits and two walks over two innings.
Bracamonte issued a pair of walks and struck out one San Marino batter.
Chase Mena walked, scored three times, hit a two-run HR and drove in another run on a sac fly.
Aldo Cali had a two-run double.
Tomas Bilvado drew a pair of walks, doubled in a run and scored three times.
Parker Wilson walked, singled and scored.
JJ Wilson walked, scored and was hit by pitch with the bases loaded.
Jamie Bercaw scored and drew a pair of walks, including once with the bases loaded.
Miles Morning had an RBI single, a walk and one run.
