Baseball:
Pasadena and Muir met up on Tuesday afternoon at Occidental College.
The No. 4 seed out of the Pacific League was on the line.
PHS would cruise to a 10-1 victory.
They led 10-0 before the Mustangs scored their lone run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Pasadena out-hit Muir, 11-5.
Kaleb Derosier went 6 1/3 innings, and he was charged with an unearned run.
Depending on which game changer page you look at, Derosier either allowed two or four hits.
With Muir as the home team, they’re supposed to be considered the official scorebook.
Derosier issued four walks and registered eight strikeouts.
Adrian Oseguera got the final two outs.
Max Huizar walked and scored the Mustangs’ run.
Kahlil Rishwain had an RBI single.
Ezekiel Rodriguez walked and singled.
Luca Cano, Bryant Soriano and Chase Billups singled.
Miguel Castillo went 4 1/3 innings, and he was on the hook for five runs on seven hits.
Castillo walked four and fanned five PHS batters.
Bryant Soriano was roughed up for five runs on four hits and a pair of walks over 2 2/3 innings.
Ian Van Zyl had a two-run single, an RBI ground out and scored a pair of runs.
Harrison Gwaltney walked, scored and had a two-run single.
Reese Kim singled and scored.
William Lievense had an RBI single and scored.
Kaleb Derosier walked, had an RBI double and scored two runs.
Adrian Oseguera drew three walks and scored.
Max Reynolds walked and singled.
Royce Johnson had two RBIs and scored.
Dylan Derosier doubled, and Markus Rennard scored once in Tuesday’s win.
