Baseball:
Los Osos will head into the final week of the 2025 regular season with a one-game lead atop the Baseline League standings.
The Grizzlies finished off the three-game sweep of Damien (8-3), and they currently enjoy a one-game advantage over RCHS.
The Spartans had a 3-1 lead, but Osos scored four times in the bottom of the fourth and they never trailed again.
LOHS out-hit DHS, 15-5.
Gavin Loeb Keene went five innings, and he allowed three runs on four hits to earn the win.
He issued one walk and registered four strikeouts.
Zenen Pena closed the door.
Pena got the final four outs, allowing one hit and striking out four.
DHS would score two of their three runs on wild pitches.
Michael Mansour had an RBI double and scored.
Gino Tarzia singled and scored.
Grant Corder and Bennett Ramirez had one double apiece.
Brady Bickham singled and Elius Kelly scored.
Russell Del Castillo got the loss after going 3 2/3 innings, and he allowed five runs (four earned) on nine hits.
Del Castillo did not issue a walk and struck out four Grizzlies.
LOHS got to Ryan Wentworth for three runs on six hits over 2 1/3 innings.
Justin Yeutter went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a run and two RBIs.
Hunter Meyer singled twice, doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Roberto Topete had one singled, two runs and an RBI.
Wyatt Mohler had an RBI single in the fifth.
Josh Chairez singled, doubled and scored.
Sean Brian went 2-for-4 with a run and one RBI.
Evan Jones singled and scored.
Reagan Samples went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
