Northview pounded out a 10-6 victory over their visitors from Charter Oak.
The Vikings out-hit the Chargers, 14-8, including a 5-2 advantage in extra-base hits.
NHS didn’t just pick up the two-game Valle Vista League sweep over COHS, they now lead Charter Oak and West Covina by one game in the VVL standings.
And their final four league game come against Rowland and Wilson, who are a combined 2-10 in VVL games.
Evan Bustamante went three innings, and he allowed three unearned runs on two hits.
Bustamante walked four and fanned three.
Camren Lobo provided three innings in relief, and he was charged with one run on three hits.
Lobo issued one walk and registered a pair of strikeouts.
Charter Oak got two runs on three hits in the seventh inning off Fernando Casas.
Casas didn’t walk anyone and struck out a pair of Chargers.
