The Northview softball program secured a two-game Valle Vista League sweep of Covina thanks to victories of 8-0 and 13-7 on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
NHS pounded out 13 hits as compared to give for CHS.
Savannah Hernandez was charged with 13 runs (nine earned) on 11 hits and seven walks over 6 1/3 innings.
Marilyn Sandoval went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs and four RBIs.
Clementina Duran doubled and finished with three RBIs.

Duran went the distance to earn the win, allowing seven runs (two earned) on five hits.
Duran issued five walks and registered two strikeouts.
Isabell Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Savanna Pacheco walked and scored three runs.
Sabrina Medrano singled twice and scored.
Savannah Hernandez went 1-for-2 with a walk, double and one RBI.
Val Meza drew a pair of walks, scored and had one RBI.
Up next: NHS travels to first place Charter Oak on Tuesday at 3:30 for the first of a two-game VVL set with the Chargers.
CHS will visit West Covina on Tuesday as well.
