South Hills got out to an early six-run lead, and they would cruise to a 10-2 Hacienda League victory at Alta Loma.
The Huskies out-hit the Braves, 14-7, on Wednesday.
Jake Zandbergen got roughed up, allowing eight runs (three earned) on eight hits over five innings.
Zandbergen walked one and fanned four SHHS batters.
The Huskies got two runs on six hits off Wyatt Snook in his two innings of work.
Snook didn’t issue a walk and registered two strikeouts.
Gabriel Guerrero went 2-for-5 with three runs.
Diego Villarreal singled, tripled and scored.
Victor Merlos went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, one run and two RBIs.
Wesley Manning doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Paxton Czubek went 2-for-3 and scored.
Derrick Wright and Aiden Morales had RBI singles in the top of the sixth inning.
Richie Soto and Robert Brown singled for the Huskies.
Ayden Vieth went 1-for-2 with a run and one RBI.
Carson Baker scored once for SHHS.
Elias Reyes went four innings, allowing an unearned run on four hits.
Reyes didn’t issue a walk and struck out a pair of ALHS batters.
