Baseball:

Muir had a successful week.

The Mustangs went 3-0 thanks to victories over Eagle Rock (10-0), New Roads (13-3) and Wilson (3-3).

On Saturday, Miguel Castillo went five innings, and he allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits.

Castillo issued one walk and struck out three in the five-inning mercy-rule victory at Wilson.

Christopher Barrientos and Jacob Garcia went 1-for-2 with one RBI apiece.

Jesus Castorina walked, scored and had one RBI.

Robert Drieslein was stuck with the loss after allowing three runs on three hits and one walk over 2/3 of an inning.

Tyler Law had a bases-loaded triple.

Bryant Soriano went 2-for-4 with a run and one RBI.

Luca Cano walked, singled, scored and had one RBI.

Conrad Hunziker IV had an RBI double and scored a pair of runs.

Kahlil Rishwain walked, scored twice and had a two-run single.

Fletcher Paddock singled in a pair of runs.

Eduardo Sosa walked, singled and scored two runs.

Arturo Ayers went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.

Max Huizar drew a walk, singled, scored and had one RBI.

Sergio Rodriguez walked and scored.
