Chino Hills improved to 8-2 after Friday’s 6-4 victory over their visitors from La Habra.
Matt McCliman went the first three innings and allowed a pair of runs on two hits over three innings of work.
McCliman walked five and fanned one LHHS batter.
Noah Resendez was credited with the win after going 3 2/3 innings and surrendering two runs on one hit.
Resendez issued a pair of walks and struck out two.
