Quotable:

Ayala coach, Brad McGuire: “Starting league play with three wins was a big step for us. While our record may not fully reflect it, we’ve faced some tough competition, and these wins were key, not just for our standings, but for building confidence. We’ve been tweaking the lineup and moving guys around to find the best fit. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re definitely making progress in the right direction. Our league is stronger than people give it credit. Every team battles and is capable of pulling off a win, so we can’t afford to give games away. To come out on top, we need to stay locked in on every pitch, compete to win each inning, and take things one game at a time.”
