Baseball:
After four losses and a tie to start the 2025 season, Etiwanda pitching has found it groove.
The Eagles staff has pieced together 24 consecutive scoreless innings, including wins over West Covina (7-0), Elsinore (8-0) and Friday’s 5-0 win at Tesoro.
Nico Hamilton went four innings, allowing two hits, walking one and striking out four THS batters.
Jack Holguin provided three scoreless and hitless innings in relief.
Holguin walked four and fanned four.
Christian LaMothe and Eli Martin had the only base hits for the Titans.
Brandon McKindley got the loss after surrendering three runs (one earned) on three hits over two innings.
McKindley issued six walks and registered three strikeouts.
LJ Roellig went 2-for-4 with a walk, double, run and two RBIs.
Josh Adams drew a pair of walks, singled, scored three runs and drove in another.
Jaxson Milius went 2-for-3 with a walk.
James Milam had an RBI ground out.
Ryan Severns and Jaeden Toki singled.
Frank Gonzales scored for EHS.
