After a 0-4-1 start to the season, Etiwanda has won consecutive games.
The Eagles cruised to an 8-0 victory over Elsinore.
Michael Aleman went the distance to earn the win.
Aleman tossed a three-hit shutout, walked one and struck out five Tigers’ batters.
Of his 77 pitches, 52 were strikes.
Robert Gates, Jovan Huerta and Jacob Farias had one single apiece to account for the Elsinore offense.
Isaiah Henderson got the loss after surrendering six runs on six hits over 4 1/3 innings.
Henderson issued three walks and struck out three Etiwanda batters.
Leading 2-0, the Eagles scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull away.
Josh Adams went 2-for-3, scored twice, and hit a two-run home run.
