Mason Sanchez & Justin Stansbury Combine to Allow Two Unearned Runs & Strike Out Four in RCHS’ 5-2 Victory Over Northview

Baseball:

Rancho Cucamonga improved to 8-2 after Wednesday’s 5-2 victory over their visitors from Northview.

Mason Sanchez went five innings and allowed one run on three hits to earn the win.

Sanchez issued one walk and struck out a pair of NHS batters.

Justin Stansbury earned the save after getting the final six outs and allowing an unearned run on one hit.

Stansbury didn’t walk anyone, and he fanned two batters.

Noah Martinez walked, doubled and scored.

Joey Ramos had an RBI single.

Jayden Chagollan drove in a run on a sac fly.

Jake Aguilar and Rudy Rosales singled for the Vikings and Seth Robles scored one run.

Camren Lobo got the loss after allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk over three innings of work.

Brock Foulds drew a pair of walks, singled, doubled, scored twice and drove in one run.

Rowan Suchanek went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs.

Jared Mock walked, doubled and scored.

Jose Gomez singled, drove in a run on a sac fly and finished with three RBIs.

Grant Thomas drove in a run on a sac fly.

Aiden Bravo singled for RCHS.

Up next: The Vikings travel to Maranatha on Friday evening at 6.

The Cougars host Ontario Christian next Thursday at 3:30.
