College Baseball:
Mt. SAC closed out its two-game set with Oxnard College on Saturday afternoon with a 22-1 nonconference beatdown of the Condors.
The Mounties outscored Oxnard, 32-2, and out-hit the Condors, 34-9.
Ahmed Mohamed was lit up for 11 runs on eight hits over two innings.
Mohamed issued five walks, struck out one, and he surrendered a pair of home runs.
Ten Mt. SAC players had at least one hit, and seven Mounties had two or more.
Oxnard pitching combined to walk 13 batters.
Bryan Bradshaw started and finished the game in style.
The former Bonita standout went 3-for-3, drew three walks, scored four times and drove in three.
Bradshaw began the scoring with a solo HR in the bottom of the first inning, and he closed out the Mounties barrage with a two-run HR in the bottom of the eighth.
Ty Thomas hit a solo HR, had an RBI single and drove in another on a sac fly.
In all, Thomas walked, scored twice and drove in three runs.
Landon White walked, singled, doubled, scored and finished with three RBIs.
Tyler Stull singled, doubled and scored.
Terrell Jackson had a big day.
Jackson went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and three RBIs.
Miguel Perez had three hits, a run and three RBIs.
Diego Villa went 2-for-6 with three runs and a pair of RBIs.
Noah Rodriguez drew a pair of walks, singled, scored twice and drove in two runs.
AC Nieto walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.
Diego Ortiz walked three times, singled, drove in one and scored a pair of runs.
Brenden Menchaca went five scoreless innings and allowed just two hits to earn the win.
Menchaca walked one and struck out four Oxnard batters.
Robert Perez, Braydon Ferguson, Jonas Ballesteros and Alakai Trust Hunalon had one single apiece to account for the Condors offense.
Up next: The Mounties will open a three-game SCC series on Tuesday, as they welcome ELAC at 2.
