Rancho Cucamonga improved to 2-1 after a 9-5 victory at Don Lugo.
The Cougars out-hit the Conquistadors, 12-6.
RCHS led 7-0 after three innings, and they never trailed.
Mason Sanchez went 3 1/3 innings, and he allowed three runs on four hits.
Sanchez issued a pair of walks and struck out four.
Grant Thomas surrendered two runs (one earned) on two hits over 3 2/3 innings.
Thomas didn’t walk a batter, and he fanned five DLHS batters.
Jayden Ruiz hit a three-run HR in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Bryan Scott went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.
Travis Jenkins walked, singled and scored.
Javier Guzman singled and scored.
Julian Perezchica was charged with seven runs on seven hits over 2 2/3 innings.
He walked one and struck out a pair of RCHS batter.
Brock Foulds went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.

Aiden Bravo singled twice and scored a pair of runs.
