Softball:
Arcadia pulled off a twofer on Wednesday.
The Lady Apaches snapped a five-game losing streak.
And their 17 runs in a 17-8 victory over Glendora was 10 more than they had scored in their first five games combined.
The Apaches collected 13 hits, and they turned five Glendora errors into eight runs.
Lily Lusk was charged with nine runs (six earned) on five hits over 2 2/3 innings.
Lusk issued two walks and fanned a pair of Apaches.
Penny Dixon allowed eight runs (one earned) on six hits and three walks over 3 1/3 innings.
Trailing 2-0 in the top of the second inning, Zabrina Perez hit a grand slam.
Nia White went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI.
Alyssa Cordeiro singled, doubled and scored two runs.
Addy Ruiz went 2-for-4 with a double, run and one RBI.
Peyton Fox drew a pair of walks, singled, scored twice and had two RBIs.
Vanessa Patino went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Quinn Sullivan earned the win in spite of allowing eight runs (five earned) on 12 hits over six innings.

Kylie Coleman went 3-for-4 with a run.
Kennedy Bowers singled, doubled, drove in a run and scored twice.
Rylee Franks went 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI.
Lauren Curiel singled, scored twice and had one RBI.
Ayva Cabuena went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.
Liz Dominguez singled twice, scored, and she drove in a pair of runs.
