Baseball:
Calvin Hunziker IV dominated throughout Friday’s 5-0 victory over Duarte.
The Muir senior went all six innings, and he allowed just one hit.
Hunziker issued one walk and registered 12 strikeouts.
Of his 67 pitches, 49 were strikes.
Hunziker got eight Falcons on strikes at least once, and he fanned four players twice.
Offensively, Hunziker helped his own cause by going 3-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.
Max Huizar doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Fletcher Paddock walked, singled and scored.
Donovan Williams drew three walks, and he scored the runs.
Luca Cano had two walks and scored twice.
Khalil Rishwain scored and had one RBI.
Bryant Soriano walked and scored.
Eduardo Sosa had an RBI ground out.
