Softball:

The Bearcats got 12 runs in the first inning off Sundae Wright before the Wildcats’ pitcher was taken out of the game.
She was unable to record an out.
BHS would cruise to a 16-1 victory in 3 1/2 innings at their own tournament.

There were nine BHS players with at least one hit, nine more had at least one RBI and 12 Bearcats scored at least one run in the season opener.
Sara Yeats singled, homered, scored twice and drove in three runs.
Koa Puppe doubled, homered, scored a pair of runs and she finished with three RBIs.
