Maranatha secured a spot in Wednesday’s CIF-SS Division 4AA quarterfinal round.
The Minutemen claimed a 51-40 victory over Desert Christian in a second-round contest.
MHS went on a 21-3 run in the second quarter to take a 14-point lead into the half.
Elizabeth Ekpo scored a game-high 16 points.
Charlotte Yee chipped in with 11 points.
And Aleen Avannessian finished with nine points.
Mackenzie Duffee led DCHS with 12 points.
Ava Armstrong provided 10 points in the loss.
