Los Altos Finishes Strong in Friday’s 61-53 Hacienda League Victory at San Dimas; LAHS Improved to 21-5

Boys Basketball:

There isn’t a shred of doubt who rules the Hacienda League roost in 2024-25.

It’s the Conquerors from Los Altos High School.

LAHS claimed a 61-53 victory at San Dimas on Friday.

Trailing 45-42 as they entered the fourth period, Los Altos closed out the game on a 19-8 run.

The Conquerors had a 9-4 advantage beyond the 3-point line.

With one game to play, Los Altos had a 3.5-game lead over both Alta Loma and Colony.

Kevin Keshishyan had a game-high 16 points.

Kareem Mendez chipped in with 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Isaiah Meza hit three 3’s and finished with 10 points.

Kylen Kincy added 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Andrew Diep led San Dimas with 15 points.

Diep had three of SDHS’ four 3-pointers.

Nathan Yearout contributed 14 points.

Yearout had the other 3-pointer, and he went 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

Jeremiah Garzon provided nine pints and Angelo Fares had seven.

Four of Luke Chavez’s six points came in the second half.

Up next: The Saints close out the 2024-25 regular season with a pair of games next week.

SDHS hosts Colony on Monday, and they travel to South Hills on Wednesday.

The Conquerors welcome Alta Loma on Monday in their regular season finale.
